Janelle is the heart of In Curtains. With 40 years in the business and at the helm since 1993, she proudly carries on the legacy started by her mum – growing the company into the trusted, creative, and close-knit team it is today. Janelle’s favourite part of the role is being hands-on: whether that’s nurturing relationships with her team, collaborating with clients on inspired design solutions, or rolling up her sleeves on site. Her passion, warmth, and leadership set the tone for everything we do. Outside of work, Janelle’s always on the move – whether she’s travelling, spending time with her grandkids, or keeping active on the golf course.

As Director of In Curtains, Andrew brings over 15 years of experience across management consulting, entrepreneurship, and operational leadership. He returned to the family business in 2021 with a vision to honour its 40+ year legacy while modernising and scaling it for the future.
Andrew is deeply involved in the day-to-day running of the business, working closely with the team to strengthen operations, integrate smart systems, and ensure a seamless experience for every client. He’s passionate about design that makes an impact – and about building a business where people and creativity thrive. Outside of work, Andrew is a devoted father and an avid runner who’s committed to health, longevity, and continuous personal growth – whether on the road, in the surf, or in business.

Leanne has been with In Curtains and Blinds since 1993 and brings a wealth of experience from her background in interior design. After studying at RMIT and running her own interiors business in Melbourne, she moved to the Sunshine Coast with her young family. As Office Manager, she keeps everything running smoothly and still enjoys staying connected to design. In her spare time, Leanne loves reviving old furniture and is always rearranging her home – much to her family’s amusement!

With over 7 years in procurement and operations in the interiors industry and a background in the beauty world, Tracey keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes at In Curtains. She ensures the right products arrive at the right time, helping create a seamless and positive experience from order to installation. Organised, efficient, and always happy to help, Tracey is a vital part of keeping our projects on track. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, Pilates, trashy TV, and balancing it all out with a bit of chocolate.

Nadia brings a unique blend of creativity and organisation to the In Curtains team. With 7 years in the design industry, she began in interior design before finding her groove in project delivery and client relationships. With a background in photography and events, she loves capturing our projects and building strong industry connections. Big on wine, cheese, salty hair, and all things French – Nadia brings heart and style to everything she does.

With 8 years under her belt at In Curtains, Evie brings a wealth of product knowledge, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine love for working with people. She’s passionate about helping clients create spaces they truly love and feels honoured to be trusted with such a personal part of their home. Evie’s warm, down-to-earth approach and keen design sense make every client feel supported and special from start to finish. Outside of work, she enjoys camping with her husband and three kids, kicking the footy in the backyard, and getting creative in the kitchen.

Teisha plays a key role at In Curtains, supporting clients through every step of the decorating journey. From interpreting floor plans to selecting the perfect fabrics and finishes, she loves helping people bring their vision to life and creating spaces that feel like home. With a background as a professional lifeguard, Teisha brings great energy, a love for interiors, and a hands-on attitude to the team.Her favourite role of all? Mum to two beautiful girls. When she gets a moment to herself, you’ll likely find her reading by the beach or unwinding at a Pilates class.

With a passion for beautiful spaces and over a decade of experience in interiors and customer service, Aliyah brings creativity and care to every project. Backed by a Diploma of Interior Design, she combines style and substance to help clients find the perfect soft furnishings for their home. She loves building strong client relationships and has a flair for decorating and marketing. Outside the showroom, she’s an artist, dog mum, and happiest sketching at a café or catching up with friends.

With over 7 years experience in soft furnishings and 20+ years in customer service, Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and care to every consultation. She believes window coverings truly make a house a home and loves witnessing the entire process – from initial consultation to installation. When she’s not in the showroom, you’ll find her sewing, strolling along the beach, or enjoying quality time with her grandkids.

Joanne brings over 20 years of experience in the interiors industry, with a background spanning tiles, lighting, and curtains. As the friendly face who greets you in the showroom, she has a strong understanding of how each element works together to create spaces that feel considered, cohesive, and beautifully finished. She finds it incredibly rewarding transforming homes and seeing the joy it brings to her clients. Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time in nature, going for walks, photographing landscapes, and being with her family.

With over 40 years of experience in residential and commercial building, Darren brings expert craftsmanship and a sharp eye for detail to every install. He takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and loves seeing great products come to life in beautiful homes. At In Curtains, Darren plays a key role in bringing projects across the finish line—ensuring every installation is smooth, precise, and customer-ready. When he’s not on the tools, you’ll find him lost in music or diving into a good video game.

Billy is a qualified carpenter with extensive experience in the installation of windows and doors across residential projects. With a strong understanding of a wide range of materials and systems, he ensures every installation is completed with precision, care, and a high standard of finish. Known for his efficiency on-site and attention to detail, Billy takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Outside of work, Billy enjoys spending time with his kids, whether it’s days at the beach, trips to the park, or heading out for bike rides together.

With a solid background in soft furnishings through his family’s curtain-making business, Jeremy brings a wealth of practical experience and a sharp eye for quality. At In Curtains, he’s the go-to for crafting curtain tracks and keeping our workshop running smoothly and efficiently.His years in the Defence Forces and Qld Police have shaped his reliable, detail-oriented approach—qualities that shine through in every product he helps create. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys bushwalking, motorcycling, NRL, and relaxing with good music.

With over 10 years of experience in the window furnishing industry, Mandy brings a broad skill set and a sharp eye for detail to the In Curtains workshop. She specialises in manufacturing roller blinds, ensuring every product is made to the highest standard right here on-site—allowing for fast turnarounds and happy customers. Her background includes roles in admin and hands-on manufacturing across shutters and indoor/outdoor blinds, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the industry. Outside of work, Mandy enjoys live music, beach days, camping, and quality time with her family, friends, and furbabies.
